کوئٹہ: لواحقین کا تدفین سے انکار، مختلف شہروں میں دھرنے

یہ رواں ماہ بلوچستان میں ایران سے آنے والے زائرین کی بس پر حملے کا دوسرا واقعہ ہے
پاکستان کی مذہبی جماعت وحدت المسلمین کے رہنما نے ا علان کیا ہے کہ جب تک وفاقی حکومت ان سے مذاکرات نہیں کرتی اور ان کے مطالبات تسلیم نہیں ہوتے وہ لاشوں سمیت دھرنا جاری رکھیں گے۔
بلوچستان کے ضلع مستونگ میں دھماکے میں ہلاک ہونے والے شیعہ زائرین کے لواحقین کوئٹہ میں علمدار روڈ پر مرنے والوں کی لاشوں کے ساتھ دھرنا دے رہے ہیں۔
دوسری جانب دارالحکومت اسلام آباد سمیت ملک کے مختلف شہروں میں لوگوں نے مستونگ حملے میں ہلاکتوں کے خلاف دھرنے دے رکھے ہیں۔
اسلام آباد میں لوگوں نے اسلام آباد اور راولپنڈی کے درمیان اہم شاہراہ اسلام آباد ہائی وے اور اسلام اباد کے سیکٹر ایف سکس میں پر دھرنا دیا ہوا ہے۔
اسی طرح لاہور میں مال روڈ پر مظاہرین کی بڑی تعداد نے دھرنا دے رکھا ہے۔
صوبہ سندھ کے شہر کراچی میں نمائش چورنگی، ملیر پندرہ نیشنل ہائی وے، فائیو اسٹار چورنگی نارتھ ناظم آباد میں دھرنے دیے جارہے ہیں۔
نمائش چورنگی پر دھرنے کی قیادت علامہ علی انور جعفری اور علامہ مبشر حسن کر رہے ہیں۔
احتجاجی دھرنے سے خطاب میں رہنماؤں کا کہنا تھا کہ ملک بھر میں جاری دہشت گردی اس بات کی جانب اشارہ ہے کہ ملک میں نواز شریف کی نہیں بلکہ طالبان کی حکومت ہے۔
’مستونگ کی ذمہ دار وہ تمام سیاسی اور مذہبی جماعتیں ہیں جو ہزاروں بے گناہ پاکستانیوں پر حملوں میں ملوث طالبان سے مذاکرات کی بات کرکے ان کی غلط کاریوں پر پردہ ڈالنے کی کوشش کرتی ہیں۔‘
وحدت المسلمین کی پریس کانفرنس
مجلس وحدت المسلمین کے رہنما اور بلوچستان اسمبلی کے رکن سید محمد رضا نے بدھ کو پریس کانفرنس کے دوران کہا کہ جب تک وفاق کا کوئی نمائندہ ہم سے مذاکرات نہیں کرتا اور ہمارے مطالبات نہیں مانے جاتے تب تک ہم لاشوں کی تدفین نہیں کریں گے۔
انھوں نے کہا کہ ’جب تک وفاقی حکومت ہمارے ساتھ مذاکرات نہیں کرتی اور لولی پاپ دینے کے بجائے حقیقی معنوں ہمارے مطالبات نہیں مانتی، ہم لاشوں کی تدفین نہیں کریں گے۔‘
اس سے پہلے پاکستان کے صوبہ بلوچستان کے ضلع مستونگ میں منگل کو شیعہ زائرین کی بس کے قریب دھماکے میں کم از کم 23 افراد ہلاک اور 30 زخمی ہوگئے تھے۔
مستونگ کے ڈی پی او محمد عابد نے بی بی سی کو بتایا کہ بم ڈسپول سکواڈ نے اس حملے میں 100 کلو بارودی مواد استعمال کیے جانے کی تصدیق کی ہے۔
زائرین پر حملے
کوئٹہ تفتان قومی شاہراہ پر مستونگ کے علاقے میں ایران میں زیارتوں کے لیے کوئٹہ سے جانے والے یا ایرن سے واپس آنے والے زائرین پر کئی حملے ہو چکے ہیں۔ان حملوں کے بعد ایسی بسوں کو لیویز اور ایف سی کی گاڑیوں کے ساتھ قافلے کی صورت میں ایرانی سرحد تک لایا اور لے جایا جاتا ہے۔
انھوں نے کہا کہ اس قافلے کی سکیورٹی پر چار گاڑیاں مامور تھیں، لیکن خودکش بمبار نے اپنی گاڑی بس سے ٹکرا دی۔
اس سے قبل اسسٹنٹ کمشنر مستونگ شفقت انور شاہوانی کے مطابق شیعہ زائرین کی دو بسیں ایران سے واپس آ رہی تھیں کہ درنگڑ کے علاقے میں ان کے راستے پر دھماکہ ہوا اور ایک بس اس کی زد میں آ گئی۔
ان کے مطابق دھماکے کے بعد بس میں آگ بھی بھڑک اٹھی۔ ہلاک ہونے والوں میں خواتین اور بچے بھی شامل ہیں۔
مستونگ تھانے کے اہل کار عبدالفاتح نے بی بی سی اردو کو بتایا کہ دھماکے کی نوعیت کے بارے میں پتہ نہیں چل سکا۔
دھماکے کی اطلاع ملتے ہی فوری طور پر امدادی کارکن اور سکیورٹی اداروں کے اہل کار بھی جائے وقوع پر پہنچ گئے اور طبی ذرائع کے مطابق زخمیوں کو سی ایم ایچ کوئٹہ منتقل کر دیا گیا۔
تاحال کسی تنظیم نے اس حملے کی ذمہ داری قبول نہیں کی ہے۔
یہ رواں ماہ بلوچستان میں ایران سے آنے والے زائرین کی بس پر حملے کا دوسرا واقعہ ہے۔
اس سے قبل یکم جنوری کو کوئٹہ شہر کے مغربی بائی پاس پر اختر آباد کے علاقے میں ایسی ہی ایک بس پر خودکش حملہ ہوا تھا جس میں حملہ آور سمیت دو افراد ہلاک اور پولیس اہل کاروں سمیت متعدد زخمی ہوگئے تھے۔

بس پاک۔ایران سرحدی علاقے تافتان سے آرہی تھی جسے مستونگ کے علاقے درین گڑھ میں نشانہ بنایا گیا—اے ایف پی فوٹو۔
کوئٹہ: بلوچستان کے علاقے مستونگ میں کم از کم 22 افراد اس وقت ہلاک ہوگئے جب ایک شیعہ زائرین سے بھری بس کو عسکریت پسندوں نے منگل کے روز نشانہ بنایا۔
کالعدم تنظیم لشکر جھنگوی نے حملے کی ذمہ داری قبول کرلی ہے۔
اسسٹنٹ کمشنر مستونگ شفقت انور نے ہلاکتوں کی تصدیق کرتے ہوئے کہا حملے میں درجنوں افراد زخمی بھی ہوئے ہیں جنہیں طبی امداد کے لیے کوئٹہ منتقل کیا جارہا ہے۔
یہ بس پاک۔ایران سرحدی علاقے تافتان سے آرہی تھی جسے مستونگ کے علاقے درین گڑھ میں نشانہ بنایا گیا۔
انور کے مطابق زوردار دھماکے کے بعد بس میں آگ لگ گئی جسے بجھانے کے لیے کوئٹہ سے فائر بریگیڈ کو روانہ کردیا گیا ہے۔
سیکرٹری داخلہ اسد الرحمان گیلانی نے ڈان ڈاٹ کام کو بتایا کہ حملے میں 80 کلو گرام بارودی مواد کا استعمال کیا گیا۔
انہوں نے کہا کے دھماکے کی نوعیت کے بارے میں تاحال معلوم نہیں ہوسکا۔ 'ہماری ترجیح ہے کہ پہلے زخمیوں کو ہسپتال منتقل کردیا جائے'۔
انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ ہلاک شدگان اور زخمیوں میں خواتین اور بچے بھی شامل ہیں۔
پولیس، لیویز اور ایف سی فورسز واقع کی جگہ پر فوری طور پر پہنچ گئے۔
ادھر کوئٹہ کے تمام سرکاری ہسپتالوں میں زخمیوں کو فوری طبی امداد پہنچانے کے مقصد سے ایمرجنسی نافذ کردی گئی ہے۔
دوسری جانب ایک دوسرے واقعے میں کوئٹہ کے علاقے سریاب میں پولیس اور ایف سی کی ایک مشترکہ کارروائی میں چار مبینہ اغوا کاروں کو ہلاک کردیا گیا۔
کارروائی کے دوران انسداد دہشت گردی فورس کے دو اہلکاروں سمیت تین افراد زخمی بھی ہوئے۔
سی سی پی او کوئٹہ رزاق چیمہ نے کہا کارروائی خفیہ اطلاعات کی بنا پر کی گئی جس کے دوران چار اغوا کار ہلاک ہوئے۔
انہوں نے کہا کے کارروائی کے دوران اغوا کاروں نے فائرنگ کردی جسکے باعث تین افراد زخمی ہوئے۔

لیویز کے مطابق کوشک کے مقام پر ایران سے براستہ تفتان کوئٹہ آنے والی زائرین کی بس کو نامعلوم حملہ آوروں نے نشانہ بنایا، دھماکے کے بعد بس میں آگ لگ گئی جس سے وہ مکمل طور پر تباہ ہوگئی، بس پر اندھا دھند فائرنگ بھی کی گئی، دھماکے کے بعد سیکیورٹی فورسز نے علاقے کو گھیرے میں لے لیا ہے جبکہ امدادی ٹیموں نے زخمیوں کو اسپتال منتقل کردیا جہاں انہیں طبی امداد فراہم کی جارہی ہے تاہم زخمیوں میں سے بعض کی حات تشویشناک بتائی جاتی ہے جس کے باعث ہلاکتوں میں اضافے کا خدشہ ہے۔

وقوع انفجار در ولایت بامیان

مقام های امنیتی در ولایت بامیان از وقوع یک انفجار در این ولایت خبر دادند.
محمد حسن حبیبی، آمر مطبوعات قوماندانی امنیه ولایت بامیان با تایید این رویداد گفته است که این انفجار ساعت ۹:۳۰ صبح امروز به وقوع پیوسته است.
او می گوید که یک ماین کنار جاده در نزدیکی حوزه امنیتی بامیان انفجار کرد.
به گفته آقای حبیبی این انفجار تلفاتی در پی نداشته است.
تا کنون فرد یا گروهی مسوولیت این انفجار را بر عهده نگرفته است.

Sectarian killings in Balochistan

TODAY, the Hazara graveyard in Quetta will be more crowded than usual. Among the visitors will be those who lost their loved ones in the Alamdar Road blasts on Jan 10 last year. The twin bombings claimed at least 81 lives and injured over 170 people, most of them Shia Hazaras who are concentrated in the area. Barely a month later, on Feb 16, another devastating attack in Quetta, this time in Hazara Town, resulted in casualties on a similar scale.
While sectarian terrorism in Balochistan has disproportionately targeted the Hazara community, easily identifiable because of their distinctive physical appearance, other Shias — especially pilgrims travelling to and from Iran — have not been spared either. The latest such attack took place last week just outside Quetta, the district most affected by sectarian attacks in the province.
According to a report by the Pakistan Institute for Peace Studies (PIPS), out of 33 sectarian attacks in Balochistan last year, 22 took place in Quetta district, which is where the vast majority of Hazara and other Shias live.
Most sectarian attacks in this part of the province are claimed by the Lashkar-i-Jhangvi (LJ) and its affiliates such as the Jaish-ul-Islam. Although the location of these groups — in pockets within Quetta city, parts of Mastung district including Splinji and Kabo, and towards Machh and Kalat — is well known, apprehending them is not simple, according to police.
“They are situated in a vast area with scattered dwellings and katcha roads; they can see the dust rise from our vehicles from miles away, giving them ample opportunity to escape,” says a senior Balochistan police official. “The only time we’ve had any success is when we’ve gone in with huge numbers of police personnel and a heli cover.”
As for Quetta, he says the mushroom growth of slums in the city and the fact that terrorists constantly change hideouts makes them elusive.
They may also be tipped off by sympathetic elements within the law-enforcement agencies. At least two former policemen are currently on trial for colluding with the LJ, which illustrates the inroads that sectarianism has made into the security set-up.
Despite the sobering statistics, however, there has been some improvement over the last few months. Ruquiya Hashmi, PML-Q legislator and a Hazara herself, says: “Large-scale sectarian attacks are not taking place with the same frequency as they were earlier and the frequency of targeted killings has also reduced.” She adds that the police have taken some action against the sectarian groups, particularly after the two major attacks in early 2013.
Sources within Balochistan police say that two major encounters with LJ militants about six months ago, one in Kharotabad and the other near the Eastern Bypass, in which several mid- to high-level operatives were killed (among whom was an ex-constable) “caused a major dent in the organisation”. Security particularly on routes leading to localities with large Hazara populations has also been enhanced. However, such measures cannot have but a limited impact. ‘Unsecured’ areas remain vulnerable to attacks, such as the place where a bus convoy carrying Shia pilgrims was attacked recently despite the presence of a police security escort.
Sectarian groups in Balochistan are strengthened by their nexus with militants in other parts of the country, which allows them opportunity for refuge and regrouping. For instance, the leader of the LJ’s Balochistan wing, Usman Kurd, who escaped from prison in 2008, is believed to be in Karachi. According to the PIPS report, “In the last three years different factions of the group have been active in Karachi and Quetta.”
What is needed is across-the-board action against terrorist groups, but the establishment’s strategic use of militant proxies precludes such an approach. In the case of Balochistan, the LJ is said to have links with the pro-government militant group Baloch Musallah Difa’a Tanzeem, one of the ‘death squads’ accused of kidnapping and killing Baloch nationalists.
“Clarity is needed at the state level; ambiguities create space for terrorists,” says security analyst Mohammed Amir Rana. “When the state does not take action against some groups, then space is created for the others.”
Many believe the state’s own Machiavellian dealings with militants are the breeding ground for this hydra-headed monster.

Suicide bomber in Quetta kills three after targeting bus

QUETTA: At least three people were killed and thirty injured in a suicide attack in Quetta, the capital of militancy-hit Balochistan province on Wednesday.
Police said a suicide bomber rammed his explosive-laden vehicle into the bus carrying Shia pilgrims in Akhtarabad area of Quetta.
The pilgrims were coming from neighboring Iran to Quetta when they were targeted. The injured include women, children and five police personnel.
Syed Ahmed Mobeen, the Deputy Inspector General Police told Dawn.com that the suicide bomber rammed his explosive-laden vehicle into the passenger bus.
"We have found the legs of suicide bomber from the spot," he added.
The injured were immediately rushed to nearby Bolan Medical Complex Hospital for medical treatment.
Security in and around BMC hospital was tightened to avoid occurrence of another untoward incident.
Emergency was imposed in the hospital and doctors and paramedics were called to treat the injured. The strength of the blast severely damaged the police vehicle as well.
Mobeen said the pilgrims bus caught fire after the blast. Fire fighters were rushed from Quetta city to put off the roaring flames of the fire.
Frontier Corps and Police were quick to the site of the attack. The road was blocked as an investigation into the incident was now underway.
Militants have been targeting the pilgrims coming from Iran for last more than six years in Quetta and other parts of Balochistan. Security was placed on high alert in and around Quetta on the eve of new year.
However, despite strict security the suicide bomber managed to target the pilgrims' bus.
The attack in Quetta has drawn strong condemnation from numerous political figures.
Prme Minister Nawaz Sharif and President Mamnoon Hussain have condemned the terrorist attack in the strongest terms.
Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf chief Imran Khan, Awami National Party chief Asfandyar Wali and Muttahida Qaumi Movement leader Altaf Hussain have also condemned the attack.
The Majlis-e-Wahdatul Muslimeen (MWM) have also condemned the attack and lashed out at the government for being unable to stop terrorist attacks in the country.
The MWM have also announced three days of mourning.

Quetta: Two dead, 31 injured in pilgrim bus bombing

QUETTA: At least two people were killed and scores more, including women and children, were injured in a passenger bus bombing here on Wednesday evening, Geo News reported.
"So far, there have been two deaths, while the count of the injured has risen to 31", Information minister of Balochistan, Abdul Raheem, confirmed.
As per initial reports the target of this sectarian terrorist act was a bus full of pilgrims coming from Iran. The blast struck the bus at Akhtarabad bypass on Qamberani Road in the provincial capital of Balochistan.
CCPO Quetta, Abdul Razzaq Cheema, said the bus had just entered Quetta after crossing Pakistan-Iran border carrying about 30 to 35 pilgrims who were coming back home after visiting holy places in Iran.
According to sources gunshots were also fired after the bomb went off.
The bus caught fire after the explosion. The TV footage aired by Geo News showed the ablaze bus burning brightly in the dark while sporadic firing was still in progress.
The fire brigade was still struggling to extinguish the fire, the sources added.
The Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) declared it a suicide attack.
"About 80-100 kilograms of explosive was used in the bomb. It is surmised that a suicide-car-bomber rammed into the fateful bus and blew it up", a BDS official said.
The emergency responders are busy moving victims to the hospitals while the law enforcement agencies trying to clear the area.
Heavy contingents of FC and police officials reached and cordoned off the blast site.
Some of the injured were rushed to Bolan Medical Complex (BMC), while others have been moved to Combined Military Hospital (CMH). The sources, however, added that no women or children were among the injured ambulanced to the hospitals so far.
A police vehicle, which was escorting the pilgrims bus was also damaged in the blast. "Some policemen also sustained injuries in the attack", the Station House House Officer (SHO) of the respective area told Geo News.
Authorities fear more deaths keeping in view the intensity of the blast.
Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and President Mamnoon Hussain have strongly condemned terrorist attack.
In his condolence message the PM said the perpetrators of such heinous crimes were doing no service to Islam and the country.
"My sympathies are with the families of the victims. I pray for the departed souls and for early recovery of those injured in the tragic incident".
He reiterated the government s resolve to eliminate terrorism from the country to establish durable peace.
Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Altaf Hussain, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan, Awami National Party chief Asfandyar Wali also decried the attack in the strongest of words.
Meanwhile, Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM), in its condemnatory reaction to the terrorist attack, picked apart the government for failing to provide protection to the citizens of Pakistan.
An MWM spokesperson also announced observance of three days of mourning across Pakistan.
