By Sayed Salahuddin and Sharif Hassan
November 12 at 10:20 AM
KABUL — A suicide bomber attacked a demonstration by minority Shiites in the Afghan capital Monday, killing at least six people as the crowd protested a spate of deadly insurgent attacks on Shiite communities in Ghazni province, police and witnesses said.
Hundreds of ethnic Hazara Shiites had gathered outside the presidential palace since Sunday night, angry over the government’s inability to stop a string of recent attacks on predominantly Hazara areas of the province southwest of the capital.... Continue Reading...

SANG-E-MASHA, Afghanistan — One pickup truck after another arrived at the government compound in a district capital in Afghanistan on Sunday, pulling around to the back of the governor’s office to unload the dead, out of sight of panicked residents.
Soldiers and police officers, many in tears, heaved bodies of their comrades from the trucks and laid them on sheets on the ground, side by side on their backs, until there were 20 of them.
The dead all wore the desert-brown boots of Afghanistan’s finest troops, the Special Forces commandos trained by the United States. Four days earlier, the soldiers had been airlifted in to rescue what is widely considered Afghanistan’s safest rural district, Jaghori, from a determined assault by Taliban insurgents.... The Names of People Murdered and Wounded By Ghani's Government in Ghor Province Are Released
Ashraf Ghani's Kabul government reminded people that the efforts of the tribal monarchy is well alive and growing strong with international aid under the disguise of democracy. The list of murdered and wounded people was released by the local hospital. Among victims are included a housewife, students, workers, and children. Disruption of a peace in a most peaceful and impoverished area of Hazarajat is the continuation of the policy of intimidation and creation of difficult circumstances to force local people to migrate.

Kabul Government Murders Civilians in Ghor Province
Ashraf Ghani's Kabul government sent commandos to Ghor in order to arrest a leader of anti-Taliban popular movement called Ali-pur. President Ghani has been known for his adaptation of racist policies of the former Afghan kings to replace and change the identity of the non-Pashtun ethnic and cultural groups.
Ali-pur has become popular among people for providing security to people in areas of Hazarajat (central Afghanistan) where the Taliban supported militias made regular incursions and government failed to protect people's lives and property. Hazarajat is known as most peaceful part of Afghanistan where the extremist group has failed to establish a presence. While Hazarajat has left behind in developmental projects, the percentage of participation of women in education, governance and civic movements have been the highest in Afghanistan.
The action of the Ghani's government is seen as an effort to bring the war into an area that has remained peaceful and has been crying for developmental aids. Artificial conflicts created by Afghan government make it easy for extremists groups to establish a foothold in the area.
The pictures that surfaced from Ghani's government action in Ghor speak of crimes against children, women and the villagers who protested against the Ghani's forces.

Global Post: Pakistani Hazaras face a constant threat of targeted violence.
Pakistani Hazaras face a constant threat of targeted violence. Many say the security response has been ghettoizing and ineffective.
When Jalila Haider, a Hazara lawyer and human rights activist, returned to her hometown Quetta in southwestern Pakistan last month, her mother thrust a video in front of her.
In it, two Hazara shopkeepers, Jaffar and Muhammad Ali, had been gunned down and family members were wailing around the corpses. In an act that would gain national attention, Haider, gripped by anger, announced a hunger strike on Facebook to protest the wanton killings of Hazaras, a Shiite minority community spread between Pakistan and Afghanistan.
The postmarked the beginning of a four-day hunger strike by Haider. She ended the strike when Pakistan’s chief of army staff, General Qamar Javed Bajwa, took the rare step of visiting Quetta personally. The army is widely seen as the primary institution maintaining law and order in Balochistan province, and Hazaras asked the army chief to guarantee the safety of the beleaguered minority.
“My agenda was to break the fear of my community,” Haider says.
'We cannot go outside'
During a Supreme Court hearing this month on the growing violence against Hazaras, Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar declared that Hazaras were effectively undergoing “ethnic cleansing” at the hands of extremist groups, and that violence was “wiping out an entire generation.”.....Continue Reading.....
