کوئٹہ: جمعے کے روز پولیس نے کچلاک کے علاقے میں بم اور دھماکہ خیز مواد سمیت اس کے ماسٹرمائنڈ کو گرفتار کرنے کا دعویٰ کیا ہے۔

کیپٹل سٹی پولیس افسر کوئٹہ میر زبیر نے ایک پریس کانفرنس سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے کہا ہے کہ پولیس نے کچلاک کے علاقے کلی لانڈی میں چھاپہ مارکر مولوی عرفان اللہ نامی شخص کو بارود اور دیگر برقی آلات سمیت گرفتار کرلیا ہے۔

انہوںے کہا کہ پولیس کو اطلاعات ملی تھیں کہ عرفان اللہ دھماکہ خیز مواد سے بم بنارہا ہے تاکہ انہیں شہر میں فرقہ وارانہ دہشتگردی کی کارروائیوں میں استعمال کرسکے۔

انہوں نے کہا کہ اس ضمن میں ایک سینیئر پولیس افسر کی نگرانی میں پولیس پارٹی کو بھیجا گیا جہاں دہشتگردی اس اہم ہدف کو گرفتارکرلیا گیا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ عرفان اللہ کے دو ساتھی عبدالہادی عرف خانہ کئی اور عبدالباقی پولیس کے پہنچتے ہی موقع سے فرارہونے میں کامیاب ہوگئے۔

انہوں نے بتایا کہ پولیس نے کارروائی کے دوران، ریموٹ کنٹرول ، ٹائم ڈوائسز، بیٹریاں برآمد کی ہیں اور الزام عائد کیا ہے کہ وہ دہشگردی کی کارروائی کی منصوبہ بندی کررہے تھے۔ کوئٹہ پولیس کا دعویٰ ہے کہ انہوں نے مکان سے نفرت پر مبنی لٹریچر بھی برآمد کیا ہے۔ ملزم سے مزید تفتیش جاری ہے۔

کوئٹہ پاکستان کے سب سے بڑے صوبہ بلوچستان کا دارالحکومت ہے جو کئی طرح کی دہشتگردی کا شکار ہے۔ یہاں سب سے ذیادہ جس طبقے کو نشانہ بنایا جاتا ہے وہ ہزارہ شیعہ برادری ہے جن کے گھروں اور علاقوں میں خودکش اور ٹائم بم حملے کئے جاتے رہے ہیں۔

717 people died in Pakistan in religious violence: USCIRF

At least 717 people were killed and 1108 injured in 203 targeted violence against religious communities in Pakistan since January last year, a report released by a Congress established independent commission has said.

Among those killed included two Hindus and one Sikh, said the "Pakistan Religious Violence Project" report released by the US Commission for International Religious Freedom, which tracked over the past 18 months publicly-reported attacks against religious communities in Pakistan.

It added that majority of the people who died were from the Shia community.

"The findings are sobering 203 incidents of sectarian violence resulting in more than 1,800 casualties, including over 700 deaths" the report said.

"The Shia community bore the brunt of attacks from militants and terrorist organizations, with some of the deadliest attacks occurring during holy months and pilgrimages," it added.

"While Shia are more at risk of becoming victims of suicide bombings and targeted shootings, the already poor religious freedom environment for Christians, Ahmadis, and Hindus continued to deteriorate, with a number violent incidents occurring against members of these communities," it said.

USCIRF said the Project's findings paint a grim and challenging picture for the government led by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

"It was positive that the Prime Minister raised concerns about religious minorities during his maiden speech before the National Assembly, as well as travelled to Quetta after a recent bombing targeting Shi'a and tasked his government to act" the report added.

"However, concrete, resolute action is needed to ensure that perpetrators of violence are arrested, prosecuted and jailed" it said.

The USCIRF report added that in order to stem the rising tide of violent religious extremism, groups and individuals responsible for attacks on religious communities must be punished.

"In addition, while banned militant groups and private citizens are responsible for the majority of attacks on religious communities, government actors are not blameless police officers have turned a blind eye to mob attacks or have refused to file police reports when victims are religious minorities" it said.

The climate of impunity threatening all Pakistanis, regardless of their faith, also is exacerbated by the much abused blasphemy and anti-Ahmadi laws," the report said.

It added that majority of the rapes cases were reported against the Hindus, of the 12 rape cases reported in the 18 months period, seven were against the Hindus, and five against Christian.Business Standard

کوئٹہ(قدرت نیوز) ہزارہ اکابرین طاہر خان ہزارہ بلوچستان شیعہ کانفرنس کے صدر سید طالب آغا ، ہزارہ قومی جرگہ کے رہنما قیوم چنگیزی اورمجلس وحدت مسلمین کے رکن بلوچستان اسمبلی سید رضا محمد نے کوئٹہ میں اہل تشیع اور ہزارہ برادری کے قتل عام کو بندکرانے کیلئے اقوام متحدہ اور انسانی حقوق کی تنظیموں سے اپیل کی ہے وہ کوئٹہ شہر میں ٹارگٹ کلنگ کافوری نوٹس لیں ہم نے ہمیشہ مظالم کیخلاف پر امن احتجاج کیا اور صبر کا دامن ہاتھ سے نہیں چھوڑا اگر اب بھی ا س قتل عام کو بند نہ کیا گیا تو مجبورا سول نا فرمانی کی تحریک چلانے پر مجبور ہوں گے علمدار روڈپر پریس کانفرنس کرتے ہوئے انہوں نے کہا کہ گذشتہ ایک دھائی سے زیادہ عرصہ میں کوئٹہ کے اہل تشیع اور ہزارہ برادری پرقیامت برپا کی گئی ہے ایک منصوبہ بندی کے تحت نسل کشی کی پے درپے وارداتوں میں ڈیڑھ ہزار کے لگ بھگ بے گناہ افراد کو قتل اور ہزاروں افراد کو زخمی وزندگی اور موت کی کشمکش میں مبتلا کیا گیا ہے لیکن انصاف ، قانون جرم و سزا کے سارے تصورات خاک میں مل چکے ہیں یوں محسوس ہوتا ہے کہ ریاست اور اس کے ادارے اپنی رٹ سے دستبردار ہو چکے ہیں اورہمیں باضابطہ طور پرنام نہاد دہشتگردوں کے رحم وکرم پر چھوڑدیا گیا ہے اس ساری صورتحال کو مد نظر رکھتے ہوئے ہم دو ٹوک الفاظ میں یہ کہہ سکتے ہیں کہ ہماری نسل کشی کے پس منظر میں مذہب کے سیاسی استعمال کے مکروہ چہرے کارفرما ہیں ہم ہر گز یہ تسلیم کرنے کو تیار نہیں کہ ریاست اور اس کے ادارے اتنے کمزور اور بے بس ہیں کہ وہ بے گناہوں اور شہریوں کی جان و مال کو تحفظ فراہم کرنے کی اپنی قانونی آئینی اور اخلاقی ذمہ داری پوری نہیں کر سکتے انہوں نے کہا کہ بے گناہوں کے قتل کے پیچھے کیا مقاصد کار فرما ہیں اور ان واقعات کی ذمہ داری قبول کرنے والوں کی کیا شناخت ہے ہمارا ان سے کوئی واسطہ نہیں ہمارا سوال تو ریاست اور اس کے اداروں سے ہے کہ وہ بے گناہ انسانوں کے قتل عام کو روکنے کی اپنی آئینی قانونی ذمہ داریوں کو پورا کرنے میں کیوں غیر سنجید ہے ان واقعات کا قلع قمع کرنے اور اس میں ملوث عناصر کی بیخ کنی کی تمام تر ذمہ داری ریاست کی ہے جبکہ ادارے اس میں غیر سنجیدہ نظر آتے ہیں انہوں نے کہا کہ فرقہ وارانہ منافرت پھیلانے والی کاغذی تنظیمیں اخبارات کے ذریعے نان ایشوز کا واویلا مچا رہی ہیں جن کاحقیقت سے کوئی تعلق نہیں انہوں نے کہا کہ اب ہمارا صبر کا پیمانہ لبریز ہو چکا ہے اور مزید مصلحت کی ہر گز گنجائش نہیں رہی انہوں نے الزام عائد کیا کہ ہمیں منظم ریاستی دہشتگردی کا سامنا ہے اور ہمارے قتل عام میں ریاستی ادارے براہ راست ملوث ہیں جو مجلس وحدت المسلمین پاکستان ایچ ڈی پی ، ہزارہ قومی تنظم، بلوچستان شیعہ کانفرنس، ہزارہ قومی جرگہ اور عوام اہل تشیع کا سنجیدہ اجتماعی موقف ہے انہوں نے کہا کہ ایک خوفناک سازش کے ذریعے آبادی اہل تشیع کے قرب و جوار میں رہائش پذیر بے گناہ مسلمانوں کو قتل عام کر کے یہ تاثردینے کی کوشش کی جار ہی ہے کہ سنی مسلمانوں کو اہل تشیع قتل کر رہے ہیں تاکہ فرقہ واریت کارنگ دیا جا سکے لیکن ہم سیاسی اور دینی جماعتوں ، انسانی حقوق کی تنظیموں، بلوچ پشتون قبائلی عمائدین اور عوام کواس صورتحال سے آگاہی دیناچاہتے ہیں کہ ا س گھناؤنی سازش کے پیچھے شہر کو خانہ جنگی کی آگ میں جھونکنے کا مقصد کار فرما ہے جو اجتماعی تباہی کا سبب بن سکتا ہے انہوں نے دعویٰ کیا کہ مسجد روڈ پر بے گناہ ہزارہ تاجروں کے قاتل خدائیداد روڈ میں نہتے معصوم افراد کے قتل میں بھی ملوث ہیں جن کیخلاف ٹھوس اور عملی کارروائی چاہئے تاکہ کوئٹہ

Shutter-down strike in Quetta over killings

QUETTA: A shutter-down strike was being observed in Quetta on Tuesday as a sign of protest against yesterday's killings of seven people, including four Hazara men, on the call of the Hazara Democratic Party, DawnNews reported.

Four men of the Hazara Shia community were killed and two others injured in an attack on Quetta’s Masjid road.

According to the police, Raza Hussain and his colleagues were going home after closing their electronic shop when gunmen on a motorcycle opened fire on their vehicle. The attackers escaped after the shooting.

Later on Monday, gunmen opened fire at a cold drink shop in Khudaidad Chowk area, seriously injuring five people.

The wounded were rushed to Civil Hospital, however, three of them succumbed to their injuries on their way.

A heavy contingent of police and Frontier Corps (FC) personnel have been deployed in various parts of the city today to avoid the occurrence of another untoward incident in the provincial capital.

Meanwhile, chief of the Hazara Political Workers Party, Muhammad Tahir Hazara, threatened to launch a civil disobedience movement if genocide against Hazaras was not stopped.

Addressing a press conference, along with leaders of almost all the Hazara and Shia organisations, Muhammad Tahir Hazara said: "We will approach United Nations and other human rights groups if the killings are not stopped".

He lamented that under an organised conspiracy, Hazaras were being targeted right under the nose of law enforcement agencies.

Tahir said that since the last few months Sunni Muslims living close to Hazaras were being targeted to foment sectarian differences and conflict. "Some elements want to lead the city towards civil war", he feared.

He demanded political forces and members of the civil society to break their silence over the killings of Hazaras, adding that rulers must take practical steps to put a stop to the attacks.
