Pakistani protestors have taken to the streets in Quetta in the country's southwestern Balochistan province to voice their anger at the killing of Shia Muslims across the country.

The Protestors were gathered in front of the United Nations office carrying the dead bodies of the seven Shia Muslims who were gunned down in Quetta on Saturday.

The victims were targeted in separate incidents by unknown gunmen.

Gunmen ridding on motorcycles opened fire in Hazarganji area of Quetta, killing five people and injuring two others, officials told Press TV.

In the wake of the first attack, gunmen opened fire again in the same area and killed two more Shias.

The assailants of both incidents fled the scene immediately after the attacks.
The Saturday attacks came hot on the heels of the killing of senior Shia judge, Zulfiqar Naqvi along with his driver and bodyguard in Quetta on Thursday.

On Monday, militants also killed three Shia Muslims and wounded two others in Balochistan. The victims belonged to a local Hazara tribe.

The country’s Shia leaders have called on the government to form a judicial commission to investigate the bloodshed.
